I read both of them and I allow all emotions to arouse. I see what it stays inside.
We know, from the studies from Positive Psychology, that "negative" feedbacks provoke emotions that last more than those provoked by "positive" ones. So I payed attention. It is obvious that it wasn't nice to read such harsh words such us those, on the first one. But then I thought that actually none of them contain THE truth. They are opinions. Appreciations. Points of view probably coming from people with different backgrounds, life experience, expectations, education...
I shouldn't take any of them as the truth but as two opinions. Away from facts, close to the people who were writing.
So I should learn from both of them and let them go. Maybe trying to improve in the sense they suggest, if I find it makes sense, but nothing rather than that.
Above all, this shows us how none of the work we do, no matter how much we research, we try to organise, to combine things we've read and we gave our best, is perceived as we would like to. And it is ok!
All we can do is give our best and let go the results. Accepting that life is what happens in that gap between our creation and the impact of it.
There is no absolute in the quality of what we do, I believe. There is only the maximum we could do in that space and time. And THAT is definitely worth celebrating!
