Last June 22nd, FNAC in MarShopping, Porto, invited THINKING-BIG to a 40 minutes conference-"tertúlia".
At 9:30 pm, everything was ready for action: "5 things that days around taugh me about thinking big" conference was about to start. The result? The room full of people stayed open till midnight, after the lights were closed and FNAC was totally empty of people!
The presentation focused on 5 mains themes presented with personal stories that happened around some travels and life experiences:
1- Attention vs Fear - To trust
2- Humbleness
3- Accepting failure
4- Celebrate. Always!
5- Gratitude for little things in life
After the presentation (that took over that one hour, with all the stories and small details) participants start making questions, sharing ideas, examples and their own perspectives.
Some people walking around FNAC also decided to stay for a while and share some stories, like a cute little 9 year old girl, who talked about her experience with positive education at school.
We talked about life, friends, prejudices, fears, education, helping the others, among other things.
A wonderful experience, proving that people are able to stay seated for 2 hours having a tea or a beer and just talking and thinking about the best side of their own lives.
At the end, instead of being reprimanded for having spent too much time on stage, the project was invited to come again on the July 14th! New open people are expected as audience!
